HOW TO CHOOSE

Not everything that contains chlorine disinfects

Active chlorine provides bleaching, hygiene and deodorisation, which is why it appears in very different products: bleaches and hypochlorites, degreasers for cutting rooms, dishwasher detergents and laundry bleaches. What changes is the concentration: from 5% active chlorine in bleach to 15% in concentrated hypochlorite.

To disinfect surfaces and equipment in the food industry you must use a product with a registration number. In this range there are two: Bacter Clor, foaming, and Clor NF Pro, non-foaming. The rest are for cleaning, bleaching or hygiene according to their data sheet, but are not registered as disinfectants.
