Washing is not the same as disinfecting
Most products in this range are washing soaps and gels: they clean the hands and are rinsed off. For food handlers, the unperfumed ones are the right choice, and in the workshop, the pastes for grease, oil and soot. The no-rinse gels are useful where there is no water to hand.
Only one is a registered antiseptic for intact skin: InstaBact® DM, with AEMPS registration 1294-DES. It is the right product when hand antisepsis is what is needed, and it is applied to clean, dry hands.

Frequently asked questions about professional hand hygiene
Which hand soap should I use in a bar or restaurant?
For customer toilets, a dispenser gel such as Dergel nacar, Dergel or Dermon, or as a foam, Dergel Foam. For kitchen staff, an unperfumed one such as Hand Bact Pro is better.
Which hand gel is suitable for food handlers?
Hand Bact Pro and Derbac, unperfumed, indicated on their data sheets for kitchens, cutting rooms, abattoirs and the dairy industry. Hand Bact Pro is rubbed in for about 30 seconds on wet hands and then rinsed off.
Is there a no-rinse hand gel?
Yes: Gerbac and Hidro Bact Pro. Apply 3 to 5 ml to the palm and rub for at least 30 seconds; no rinsing is needed, although hands can be rinsed with drinking water.
Which product is the hand antiseptic?
InstaBact® DM, an antiseptic for intact skin with AEMPS registration 1294-DES. Apply 3 ml to clean, dry skin and rub for at least 60 seconds, or 120 seconds for virucidal action.
What should I use for hands with workshop grease?
Derbel pasta, with solvents, or Derbel crema, with a biodegradable abrasive. Both are used neat to remove grease, oils and soot.
Do you supply businesses and distributors?
Yes, with pack sizes from 500 ml to 11 l depending on the product, including 800 ml pouches for dispensers. See the distribution programme.
What hand hygiene do you need?
Tell us where hands are washed (customer toilets, kitchen, food industry, workshop) and which dispensers you have: we will recommend a product at factory prices.
