HOW TO CHOOSE

Limescale and scale come off with acid; grease does not

In a bathroom, the hardest soiling is not grease but the limescale that water leaves on washbasins, taps and shower screens, and the scale inside the toilet. That is why the limescale removers and descalers in this range are acidic, with a pH between 1.5 and 3.5: they dissolve what a neutral multi-purpose cleaner cannot.

Two families: limescale removers for washbasins, taps, shower screens, walls and stainless steel, and descalers for the inside of the toilet, more viscous so that they cling to the side of the bowl. For the rest of the bathroom (floors and surfaces with little limescale), the multi-purpose cleaners do the job.

Frequently asked questions about professional bathroom cleaning

Which product removes limescale from taps and shower screens?

An acid limescale remover: Kalin (pH 2.5), neat or at 20 to 40 g/l; eqo Sanitarios, sprayed at 2.5%; or Eco Kal, ready to use with the EU Ecolabel. If Kalin is used neat, rinse with plenty of water.

What is the best descaler for the toilet?

It depends on the scale. WC Forte and Eco WC are applied neat to the scaled areas, left to act for a few minutes and rinsed off. Grin WC and Defort are viscous and cling to the side of the bowl; Defort is indicated for limescale build-up.

Are there certified eco-friendly bathroom products?

Yes: Eco Kal (limescale remover) and Eco WC (toilet descaler) carry the EU Ecolabel, licence ES-CAT/020/026. More certified products in the EU Ecolabel range.

How do you get rid of bad odours in the bathroom?

Bio way is a ready-to-use biological cleaner formulated to clean bathrooms and keep them free from odours: spray it onto the surface and wipe. For the air, the professional air fresheners.

Can they be mixed with bleach?

No. They are acid products and their data sheets state that they must not be mixed with other chemicals. If disinfection is needed as well as cleaning, it is done as a separate step with a registered disinfectant.

Do you supply cleaning companies and distributors?

Yes. We have manufactured at our plant in Vic since 1990, with pack sizes from 1 to 10 kg depending on the product and eqo concentrates with a dilution station. See the distribution programme.

Which products do your bathrooms need?

Tell us what type of bathrooms you clean (hotel, office, gym, institution), how many and how hard the water is: we will recommend the product and dosage at factory prices.
