Stainless steel is the standard material in professional kitchens, the food industry and hospitality equipment, and its maintenance combines grease cleaning, limescale removal and polishing. The range includes cold degreasers, multipurpose cleaners, concentrated or ready to use without rinsing, acid cleaners and descalers for limescale deposits and a spray polish. The main difference is between neutral products for daily use and acid products for mineral soiling, which require rinsing.
The most widely used are Grassol, a cold degreaser, neat or diluted up to 1 %; Ambinet C, a neutral multipurpose cleaner, and Ambinet, a concentrated multipurpose cleaner, both at 10 to 20 g/l; Solex, ready to use, applied neat without rinsing; Linox, a spray polish that is rubbed in with a dry cloth; and Clinox, an acid cleaner at 25 % for maintenance or neat on stubborn soiling. All come with a technical data sheet and a safety data sheet (SDS), and Instaquim is the manufacturer.
