Hygiene on farms and livestock holdings combines the cleaning of facilities, milking equipment and circuits with animal care. This range brings together foaming and non-foaming alkaline detergents, disinfectants with bactericidal and virucidal action, products for automatic washing and CIP, and post-milking teat sealants. What changes most is the method of application: foam, immersion or manual on surfaces, and recirculation in circuits.
The most widely used are Bacter Clor, a chlorinated alkaline foaming bactericide, at 2 to 5 % with 5-15 minutes of contact; Bacter, bactericidal at 40 g/l (4 %) in 5 minutes; Clor NF Pro, chlorinated and non-foaming, at 2 to 8 % between 20 and 60 °C; Alcalino Pro 5, for automatic washing at 1 to 4 %; and Condnipple A with its activator Condnipple B, 50 ml of B per litre of A. All have a technical data sheet and a safety data sheet (SDS), and Instaquim is the manufacturer.
