Cobat is an active oxygen bleach formulated for industrial laundry and professional laundry operations. It works by eliminating tough stains and sanitising textiles, preserving the integrity of fibres and colour intensity in every industrial washing cycle.
Description
Cobat is an active oxygen bleach designed for use in industrial washing machinery. Its formulation works by releasing oxygen radicals that oxidise and break down organic and inorganic residues embedded in fibres, eliminating protein, grease and pigmented stains without requiring high temperatures or chlorinated agents. It does not degrade fibres and respects and brightens colours.
Cobat is formulated and manufactured by Detervic / Instaquim for professional and industrial laundry environments where effective bleaching, textile hygiene and fabric preservation are simultaneous requirements.

- Effective action on tough stains — active oxygen dissociates the organic bonds of protein, grease and pigmented stains without requiring high temperatures.
- Suitable for coloured clothing — preserves the intensity and vibrancy of original tones after multiple textile washing cycles.
- Optimal performance below 50 ºC — compatible with water of any hardness.
Main applications
- Industrial laundries: treatment of large volumes of white and coloured clothing.
- HoReCa and food service: bleaching of tablecloths, kitchen uniforms, bed linen and towels with fabric preservation after repeated washing.
- Healthcare and elderly care: washing textiles in environments with high hygiene requirements, applying active oxygen as a chlorine alternative in delicate or continuously-used garments.
- Tourist accommodation and facility management: bed linen, towelling, work uniforms and corporate clothing where whiteness preservation and fabric integrity impact service quality perception.
Recommended sectors
- HoReCa — bleaching of bed linen, tablecloths and uniforms in integrated or outsourced professional laundry.
- Healthcare and elderly care — washing textiles with high hygiene requirements; active oxygen acts as a chlorine alternative in garments requiring careful handling and frequent wash cycles.
