Bleaching agents for industrial laundry complement the detergent when washing white linen in hotels, hospitals and care homes. They differ in the active agent: active oxygen, peracetic acid or active chlorine, including a bleach substitute. Doses are expressed in grams per kilo of dry laundry, with more intensive recovery treatments for greyed fabrics. The range is completed by a reducing restorer and a rust stain remover.
Oximatic, active oxygen, is dosed at 2-6 g per kg of dry laundry with a peristaltic dosing pump; Clormatic, with active chlorine, is used at 5-15 g/kg together with the detergent or in a separate bath for hospital linen; Adiclor goes from 5 to 10 g/kg; Cobat works at 4-6 g/kg and rises to 10-15 g/kg for recovery, and Reox, a reducer, is applied at 20-40 g/kg for 30 minutes. All have a technical data sheet and a safety data sheet (SDS), and Instaquim is the manufacturer.
