First the cause, then the fragrance
Most bad odours come from the breakdown of organic matter: grease in drains, urine in bathrooms, residues in carpets, waste containers or waste-handling machinery. To stop the odour from coming back, you need to remove that matter: with biological products (enzymes and microorganisms), with an odour absorber or with a suitable cleaner.

Remove the cause: if the odour comes back, there is organic matter that has not been removed. Clean the area and repeat the treatment according to each product's data sheet.

Frequently asked questions about odour neutralisers
What is the difference between an air freshener and an odour neutraliser?
An air freshener perfumes the air; a neutraliser acts on whatever is causing the odour. Bio Fresh, for example, is based on enzymes and surfactants and is indicated where the odour comes from the breakdown of organic matter.
How do you remove a bad smell from a drain?
With Bio drain, a blend of enzymes and microorganisms that breaks down grease and residues: 100–200 ml directly into the drain when odours or signs of blockage start.
What should I use for odours in carpets and upholstery?
Is there a natural deodoriser?
Eco Deo, with a composition of 100 % natural origin, diluted at 5 % and applied with a trigger sprayer onto the source of the odours.
And odours from bin rooms and waste containers?
Bac Plus, slightly alkaline, with a detergent, hygienising and deodorising action, at 0.5–2 %.
