An automatic car wash tunnel chains together stages with different products: pre-wash for insects and stuck-on dirt, washing with a foaming or neutral detergent, alkaline powder detergent for dosing units and a rinse aid in the final rinse. The range is aimed at car wash stations, dealerships and transport fleets. The differences lie in the form (liquid or powder), the neutral or alkaline character and the dose in g/l, which is adjusted to the soiling and the water hardness at each stage.
The usual products are Carin, for bodywork and insects, at 10 to 50 g/l on light soiling and from 50 % to neat on engines; Carfoam, foaming, at 3 to 8 g/l; Procar, neutral, at 5 to 10 g/l; Box car +, an alkaline powder with a nozzle output of 2 to 6 g/l; and Ceracar +, a final-rinse aid at 3 to 5 g/l. All include a technical data sheet and a safety data sheet (SDS), and Instaquim is the manufacturer.
