Fordry is a professional oven rinse aid formulated as a rinsing additive for professional ovens with integrated self-cleaning programmes. It acts on the surface tension of water during the rinse cycle, controlling foam formation and ensuring that interior surfaces of HoReCa ovens are left free from films, marks and detergent residues.
Description
Fordry is a rinsing additive specifically formulated for the self-cleaning cycles of professional ovens used in intensive environments. Its mechanism of action is based on reducing water surface tension during the rinsing phase, removing residues of concentrated alkaline detergents without generating residual foam, even under the thermal conditions typical of an industrial oven.
Fordry is a product manufactured by Detervic / Instaquim, with proprietary formulation aimed at the professional sector. It is designed to integrate into already-established HoReCa oven cleaning protocols without the need to modify existing dosing circuits, and is backed by direct technical support from the manufacturer for authorised distributors and users.

Frequently asked questions
What is Fordry used for?
Fordry is a rinsing additive for professional ovens with integrated self-cleaning programmes. It acts during the rinsing phase by reducing water surface tension to control foam formation and ensure interior surfaces are free from marks, films and detergent residues.
Which sectors is it recommended for?
It is primarily indicated in HoReCa (restaurants, hotels, cafés), industrial catering, food service (hospitals, residential homes, schools), professional bakery and patisserie, and cleaning and facility management companies with professional kitchens.
Is it suitable for professional use?
Yes. Formulated by Detervic / Instaquim for intensive professional environments, with technical support for distributors and authorised users.
Where can I view the technical data sheet?
Available on this page. For specific dilutions, dosing rates or detailed operational information, consult the technical document.
Is the safety data sheet available?
Yes. The safety data sheet (SDS) is available to authorised customers and distributors upon request to the commercial department.
Can it be mixed with other rinsing additives?

How can I request a quote or pricing?
Contact the commercial team via form, WhatsApp or telephone. We respond to enquiries within 24 hours.
What is a rinse aid and how does it work?
A rinse aid is automatically dispensed during the final rinse phase of the dishwasher. Its technical function is to reduce the surface tension of the water: instead of clinging in droplets on plates, glasses and cutlery, the water spreads into a uniform film and sheets off the surface (sheeting effect). As the water drains away before drying, the dissolved minerals —mainly limescale— are prevented from crystallising on the dishes, eliminating spots, water marks and whitish films, especially visible on glassware. The result is faster drying, with no manual wiping, and a bright, streak-free finish. The optimal dose depends on water hardness: the harder the water, the higher the dose needed to offset the lime content.
