Description

Cerabrill is an aqueous wax emulsion formulated for the professional treatment of intensive-use pavements. Its coalescence technology forms a continuous layer as water evaporates, sealing the porosity of the substrate, providing uniform shine and reducing dirt retention between maintenance operations. The result is a protected pavement with adequate surface traction and a well-maintained appearance that is sustained under demanding traffic conditions.

Cerabrill is manufactured and formulated by Detervic / Instaquim, with established presence in the HoReCa, healthcare, services and industrial maintenance sectors. The formulation responds to criteria of environmental compatibility and workplace safety: absence of phosphates, EDTA, NTA, ammonia, caustic soda, chlorine, alcohol and artificial dyes, with full compatibility with conventional treatment systems after correct dilution.

Benefits for professional use

  • Adherent protective film — wax microparticles coalesce as water evaporates, forming a continuous layer that seals the porosity of the substrate and reduces dirt penetration.
  • Lasting shine — the resulting finish maintains its visual uniformity even under heavy traffic, furniture displacement and routine mechanical cleaning.
  • Controlled anti-slip effect — the wax coating provides adequate surface traction, compatible with safety requirements in public and work spaces.
  • Clean and compatible formulation — phosphate-free, NTA-free, EDTA-free, ammonia-free, caustic soda-free, no artificial dyes; compatible with conventional treatment systems after correct dilution and suitable for use in the presence of personnel with no irritating emissions.
  • Facilitates subsequent maintenance — the sealed surface is less prone to retaining contaminant particles, reducing the frequency and intensity of floor cleaning operations.

Main applications

  • Terrazzo floors: as terrazzo wax, it seals the pores characteristic of this material and restores shine to surfaces stripped or worn by use.
  • Plastic coatings, vinyl and PVC: as vinyl floor wax and PVC floor wax, it provides a protective layer that extends the life of the coating without altering its flexibility.
  • Tile floors and porous surfaces: it acts on the joint and surface, facilitates the preservation of the finish between deep maintenance operations and penetrates the porous substrate before forming the surface film.
  • Industrial plastic floors and parquet: it protects against the traffic of trolleys, safety footwear and light cleaning machinery; as parquet wax, it maintains the appearance of the substrate against surface moisture and scratching.

Recommended sectors

  • HoReCa — floor treatment in common areas, dining rooms, corridors and kitchens of hotels, restaurants and cafés; as terrazzo wax in lobbies and maintenance wax in dining areas.
  • Healthcare and geriatric care — waxing of vinyl and plastic pavements in corridors, rooms and transit areas; the absence of ammonia and caustic soda is especially valued in these environments.
  • Service companies and facility management — floor wax of reference in corporate building maintenance contracts, shopping centres and large retail facilities, simplifying floor cleaning protocols at scale.
  • Industry and logistics — protection of plastic and industrial floors against heavy traffic from light machinery and personnel, with the resistance provided by a high film-density wax.

Directions for use

01
Substrate preparation: ensure that the floor is completely clean, dry and free from old wax residue, dust or grease. On stripped floors, wait until the surface is completely dry before proceeding.
02
Dilution: prepare the Cerabrill solution according to the dilution recommended in the technical datasheet, adapting the concentration to the porosity of the substrate and the type of finish desired.
03
Application: apply the emulsion evenly with a microfibre mop or sponge applicator, spreading in thin and regular coats. Avoid accumulation in joints and corners.
04
Drying between coats: allow the drying time indicated between each coat. Do not walk on the surface during drying to avoid marks or irregularities in the film.
05
Maintenance: perform periodic cleaning operations with compatible products and renew the Cerabrill coat according to the frequency of use and the level of wear observed.

Specific dilutions, drying times and recommendations by substrate type are available in the product technical datasheet.
