Water treatment for professional pools and spas: disinfection with chlorine or bromine, pH correction, flocculation, algae control and acid cleaning of the empty pool. Chlorine is available in granules or tablets, at 90 % or 55 %, in fast-acting or triple-action versions; bromine tablets are used in spas. The flocculant is added through the skimmers and the algaecide is a 7 % quaternary ammonium product.

Algiquat Basic is applied undiluted to the empty pool; Instaflok is dosed at 5 ml per 1,000 l for maintenance and 20 ml for recovery; Instaplus (pH+) raises the pH by one tenth with 10 ml per 1,000 l; Desincpool, hydrochloric acid with surfactant, is used at 25 % in water, and Cloro 90% granulado shock-chlorinates at 10 g/m³ and maintains 1.5-3 ppm of residual chlorine.
