Clean, remove organic stains and eliminate odours
For general cleaning, Tapis is a detergent for carpets, upholstery and textile floor coverings that is used by hand or with a spray-extraction machine, diluted in water at 5 %.
Organic or bodily fluid stains are treated with Bio clin, a biological cleaner used neat or at 10–20 g/l. If the problem is odour, Bio Fresh removes it at its source with enzymes, and Absodor absorbs it: it is spread neat, left to dry and removed with a dry cloth or by vacuuming.
How to clean a carpet with spray extraction
- Vacuum the carpet to remove loose dirt.
- Prepare the Tapis solution at 5 % in the machine tank (50 ml per litre of water).
- Run the machine, injecting the solution and extracting it, in overlapping strips.
- If organic stains remain, treat them with Bio clin; for odour, Bio Fresh.
- Leave to dry with good ventilation before using the area again.
