Stain removers are applied before washing to stains that the normal cycle does not remove, in industrial and self-service laundries, hotels and care homes. The range is organised by type of stain: ink, stains of protein, carbohydrate or lipid origin (enzymatic) and stains of pigment origin, plus a biological enzymatic pre-wash detergent dosed in the wash itself. The Q references are used neat with limited contact times.

Tink, for ink on surfaces such as formica or vinyl, is sprayed sparingly and rubbed with a dry cloth; Q3, for protein, carbohydrate or lipid stains, and Q4, for pigment stains, are applied neat, left to act for about 5 minutes without exceeding 15, followed by a normal wash; Q1 follows the same procedure for ink stains; and Spot, a pre-wash product, is dosed at 5 to 20 g per kg of dry laundry at about 40 °C. Each product has a technical data sheet and a safety data sheet (SDS), and Instaquim is the manufacturer.
