Iron sequestrant additive
Additive for wash water with great effectiveness in forming complexes with iron ions, especially indicated for ferruginous waters. It is presented as a transparent colourless liquid with a pH (1%) of 10.5 ± 1.0 and contains ethylenediaminetetraacetate (EDTA) and its salts. It can be used as an additive, preferably added in the wash phase, or as a reclaimer in a washing process at 60 ºC for about 30 minutes, adjusting the dose according to the pH and the amount of ions in solution.

As an additive: Dosage ranges from 2 to 4 g/kg, depending on pH and the quantity of ions in solution. It should be added in the washing phase in ferruginous waters if possible. As a restorer: Dosage from 20 to 40 g/kg with a wash process at 60ºC for aprox. 30 minutes. |
