Parquet and wooden floors in hotels, offices, shops and public rooms need neutral detergents formulated for wood and, periodically, a polish to restore the shine. The selection consists of a neutral multipurpose cleaner suitable for all types of surfaces, a neutral detergent specifically for wood and a concentrated self-shine polish applied as an even film with an applicator or cloth, never with a mop. The detergents are dosed in grams per litre according to the degree of soiling.
Ambinet C, a neutral multipurpose cleaner, is used neat or diluted at 10 to 20 g/l; Parket, a neutral detergent for wood, is diluted at 5 to 20 g/l, and Brima is applied concentrated to the clean, dry surface, previously wiped with a damp cloth, leaving an even film. All three products have a technical data sheet and a safety data sheet (SDS), and Instaquim is the manufacturer.
