Self-service laundry

Easy, Fast and Economical.

These words could describe how the star of this article, the self-service laundry (laundromat), is used. In recent years we have seen the number of laundries of this kind grow exponentially in Spain. You surely know them, either because you have one near your home or because you have seen them in some city. You may even have used one at some point, or perhaps regularly, to do your washing.

Washing clothes in a self-service laundry is easy, fast and economical.

Easy: Just follow the relevant instructions, put the clothes in the washing machine, choose the programme and pay.

Fast: Obviously you can wash a larger quantity of clothes than you can at home.

They usually have washing machines of up to 17 kg, with programmes of approximately 45’.

Economical: Domestic washing machines, in addition to their low load capacity, have fairly high water and electricity consumption.  To all this we must add the cost of detergent and fabric softener, as well as the high electricity cost of the tumble dryer.

The detergents used by Instaquim are the fruit of our extensive experience in the industrial laundry sector over more than 25 years. We have developed a specific range of products for self-service laundries to meet everything consumers demand when washing their clothes.
Our detergents, designed specifically for the deepest hygiene of fabrics, also contain surfactants that care for clothes, keeping colours vivid and renewing fabrics. They provide a high level of hygiene for the washed clothes.

The synergy between our detergents and our fabric softeners is total, making drying easier, reducing static electricity and softening the fabric.
Our fabric softeners are based on concentrated formulas with the latest technology in free and microencapsulated perfume.

Free perfume is what we can smell when we walk into a self-service laundry or open the washing machine/dryer (blooming). But this sensation fades over time, and our clothes may no longer give off any scent when we put them on. For this reason, some Instaquim fabric softeners, such as Blue Soft, incorporate encapsulated perfume:

Perfume with microcapsule or microencapsulated technology is protected by a capsule at microscopic level, which allows it to settle on the fabrics and be released only through the friction of our skin.
In this way, clothes keep their scent for longer.

We have a wide range of products designed exclusively for self-service laundries, with which your laundry will significantly improve the user experience.
