Description

eqo Dishwasher is a high-concentration alkaline liquid detergent with low foam designed for use in automatic dishwashers. Its formula acts on three simultaneous levels: alkaline action to break down animal and vegetable fats, protein residues, sauces and starch-based stains; hardness sequestrants to neutralise calcium and magnesium ions present in hard water; and dispersants to prevent eliminated particles from re-depositing on crockery or equipment. The result is effective cleaning in every cycle, without foam.

eqo Dishwasher is a product formulated and manufactured by Detervic / Instaquim, a company with its own technical department capable of providing support to distributors and end users on dosing, equipment compatibility and adaptation to local water conditions. The eqo range is targeted at professional intensive use environments where result consistency and machinery protection are critical operational factors.

Benefits for professional use

  • Guaranteed low foam — specifically designed for automatic dishwashers; prevents overflows associated with excessive foam in hood or tunnel equipment.
  • Effective in hard water up to 40 ºHF — integrated sequestrants neutralise calcium and magnesium ions, preventing scale buildup on heating elements, wash arms and filters.
  • Long-term equipment protection — by preventing mineral deposits in internal circuits, it helps keep the machine free of scale.

Main applications

  • Restaurants and hospitality: removal of greases, sauces and beverage residues from crockery, glassware and cutlery in automatic dishwashers with short and continuous cycles.
  • Hotels and banquet catering: central kitchens and banquet services with high variation in soiling and high wash volumes; automatic dosing guarantees constant concentration without manual supervision at each shift.
  • Collective dining halls and concessions: schools, hospitals, nursing homes and companies with catering services that use tunnel equipment for large-scale plate production lines and hard mains water supply.
  • Airline catering and hospital kitchens: prepared food production plants where the detergent must perform consistently in hard water.

Recommended sectors

  • HoReCa — hotels, restaurants, bars and cafés with hood, basket or tunnel dishwashers; intensive washing of crockery, glassware and cutlery in continuous cycles with variable water hardness.
  • Food industry — production kitchens, catering plants and prepared food services requiring an automatic machinery detergent.
  • Collective catering: schools, dining halls and catering — high daily load volumes in tunnel or hood equipment with hard mains water supply, where detergent stability reduces the need for corrective maintenance and operator intervention.
  • Service companies and facility management — centralised management of dishwashing protocols in collective catering contracts across multiple facilities and different types of automatic equipment.

Directions for use — guidance

01
Verify that the dishwasher's automatic injection system is correctly configured for low-foam liquid detergent.
02
Connect the automatic doser to the eqo Dishwasher tank following the equipment manufacturer's instructions.
03
Adjust the dose according to local water hardness and habitual soiling levels; consult the technical datasheet for recommended dosing parameters in hard water.
04
Load crockery into the basket or onto the tunnel conveyor avoiding overlapping that prevents proper water circulation during washing.
05
Start the wash cycle at a temperature between 55 and 60 ºC; periodically check the detergent tank level.

Specific dilutions, contact times and recommendations are available in the product technical datasheet.
