Desmo sil is an active silicone based nonstick releasing agent. It forms a thin and uniform film which avoids adherence ensuring perfect working conditions. Useful for demolding processes of rubber and plastics and also to avoid adherence of projections from welding processes. Desmo sil is also useful as a general purpose nonstick.

Mold release: spray lightly the interior parts of the mold at a distance of aprox. 30 cm. Leave it for a while before starting molding. Welding: spray all the parts exposed to projections but away from the arc, especially nozzles, contact tubes (just outside), diffusers, bottom of the nozzle holder, etc. Leave it for a while before starting welding. After the treatment, a light tap is enough to make the projections fall off. |

Product description
Desmo Sil is formulated with low surface tension silicones, designed to create a fine, homogeneous film. The product forms a stable barrier that prevents the adhesion of processed materials.
For demolding, lightly spray the inside of the mold from a distance of approx. 30 cm and wait a few moments before filling the mold. Extremely flammable aerosol: keep away from heat and any source of ignition.
It is useful for demolding rubber and plastics and also as a general-purpose anti-adhesive.
In welding processes, Desmo Sil prevents spatter adhesion: it is sprayed onto the parts exposed to spatter but away from the arc (nozzles, contact tubes —outside only—, diffusers, bottom of the nozzle holder) and, after treatment, a light tap is enough to remove the spatter.
