Lubricants for chains and conveyor belts | Instaquim

Chains and conveyor belts on packaging and bottling lines need continuous lubrication to reduce chain wear and keep containers sliding smoothly. This range brings together two conveyor lubricants that are dosed diluted in water, with automatic dosing recommended: one silicone-based and one synthetic. The main difference lies in the dose and in the behaviour with water hardness, which does not affect the performance of the silicone lubricant but requires the dosing of the synthetic one to be adjusted.

Lubrisil is a silicone lubricant applied by drip feed, diluted at 5 to 20 g/l depending on belt speed, regardless of water hardness. Lubri Pro is a synthetic lubricant dosed at 0.2 to 0.4 %, adjusted according to water hardness, chain wear and container type. Both come with a technical data sheet and a safety data sheet (SDS), and Instaquim is the manufacturer.
