Description

Cristabrill is a rinsing additive specifically formulated for industrial and semi-industrial dishwashers in high-volume professional environments. Its function is to act in the final rinse cycle by reducing the surface tension of water, so that the liquid slides over the glass without depositing in droplets, avoiding drying marks and the characteristic white haze of hard water. Its dispersing and deflocculant action prevents calcareous and mineral residues from adhering to the glass surface, while the incorporated anti-foaming agents guarantee complete rinsing free from residual detergent foam.

Cristabrill is manufactured by Detervic / Instaquim, with proprietary formulation focused on the operational demands of the hospitality and professional restaurant sector. It leaves no residual odours or tastes that could contaminate the washed items.

Benefits for professional use

  • No residual odours or tastes — leaves no residual odours or tastes on glasses and cups, a critical aspect when pieces are intended to serve beverages.
  • Dispersing and deflocculant action — prevents calcareous and mineral residues from adhering to glass during automatic rinsing.
  • Incorporated anti-foaming agents — prevent residual detergent foam from interfering in the rinse cycle, guaranteeing complete rinsing in each cycle.

Main applications

  • Hospitality and restaurants: bars, restaurants and cafés with continuous washing of service glassware, where the presentation of glasses and cups directly influences customer perception and the absence of manual rework means direct savings in operational time.
  • Hotels and collective facilities: management of large volumes of glassware daily, with homogeneous results in each automatic wash cycle without need for manual intervention.
  • Catering and collective catering: continuous wash lines where consistency in results and compatibility with automated dosing systems are routine operational requirements.
  • Cleaning service companies: integration of Cristabrill into standardised glassware washing protocols for HoReCa and collective catering clients.

Recommended sectors

  • HoReCa — hotels, restaurants and cafés where wash volume is continuous and the presentation of service glassware requires dry results and spot-free appearance in each cycle.
  • Service companies and facility management — integration of the additive into standardised glassware washing protocols for clients in the restaurant and collective catering sector.

Instructions for use

01
Connect Cristabrill to the rinsing additive dispenser of the industrial or semi-industrial dishwasher.
02
Adjust the dose between 0.1 and 1 g/l of water in the rinse cycle.
03
Verify that the rinse cycle temperature is between 65 and 80 ºC for maximum performance of drying agents.
04
Use automatic dosing systems for greater precision and product savings, avoiding the variability of manual adjustment.
05
Regularly check the product level in the reservoir and replenish before it runs out to maintain consistency in results.

Frequently asked questions

What is Cristabrill for?

Cristabrill is a rinsing additive for industrial and semi-industrial dishwashers that acts in the rinse cycle by reducing the surface tension of water. Its function is to obtain uniform drying on glassware, without spots or white haze, thanks to its dispersing and deflocculant action against calcareous and mineral residues.

What type of dishwasher is it suitable for?

Cristabrill is compatible with both industrial and semi-industrial dishwashers for professional use. It is added to the rinsing additive reservoir of the equipment and can be used with automatic dosing systems for greater precision and product savings.

How does it eliminate white haze on glasses?

White haze is a consequence of mineral and calcareous deposits left by water as it evaporates on the glass. Cristabrill reduces the surface tension of rinse water, allowing the liquid to slide over the surface without forming droplets, which helps eliminate this effect.

Does Cristabrill leave odours or tastes on glasses and cups?

No. Cristabrill leaves no residual odours or tastes on washed pieces. This is especially relevant for glassware intended to serve beverages, where any aromatic residue may alter the customer experience.

What sectors is it recommended for?

Cristabrill is indicated for hospitality and restaurants, hotels, catering, collective catering and cleaning service companies with HoReCa clients. In all these environments, the product meets the need for homogeneous results in high-volume automatic wash cycles.

Is it suitable for professional use?

Yes. Formulated by Detervic / Instaquim for professional environments, with technical support for authorised distributors and users.

Where can I consult the technical datasheet?

Available on this page. For specific dilutions, application temperatures or detailed operational information, consult the technical document.

Is the safety datasheet available?

Yes. The safety data sheet (SDS) is available to authorised customers and distributors upon request to the commercial department.

How can I request a quote or tariff?

Contact the commercial team via form, WhatsApp or telephone. We respond to inquiries within 24 working hours.

What is a rinse aid and how does it work?

A rinse aid is automatically dispensed during the final rinse phase of the dishwasher. Its technical function is to reduce the surface tension of the water: instead of clinging in droplets on plates, glasses and cutlery, the water spreads into a uniform film and sheets off the surface (sheeting effect). As the water drains away before drying, the dissolved minerals —mainly limescale— are prevented from crystallising on the dishes, eliminating spots, water marks and whitish films, especially visible on glassware. The result is faster drying, with no manual wiping, and a bright, streak-free finish. The optimal dose depends on water hardness: the harder the water, the higher the dose needed to offset the lime content.
