How to compete with a chain as an independent

A chain has a brand and processes; you have closeness to your customers and the freedom to decide. Make the most of them in what customers notice with every wash:

Your own detergent brand

Being independent does not stop you having your own product. Instaquim manufactures private-label products and develops custom formulations in its laboratory, so your laundry can have its own detergent and softener under its name. It is a way of standing out that a chain cannot copy.

What support do I get if I am not part of a franchise?

An assigned account manager, technical visits and on-site training, a technical response in under 4 hours and delivery in 24–48 hours on the Spanish mainland.

Can I change chemical supplier while the laundry is open?

Yes, but plan it: the pumps have to be recalibrated and test washes run with the new product. Do it outside high season.

Is it worth offering an eco-friendly option?

If your neighbourhood values it, yes. Eco Wash holds EU Ecolabel licence ES-CAT/039/002 and is paired with Eco Soft fabric softener. Advertise it in the shop and on your Google listing, with the product name and its licence, without promising more than the label says.
